Solved! Charger or battery not working

Alright, so I have a retrack charger plugged into my laptop but for the past few days its not even registered as being plugged in when its not working, it has worked in the past and when this issue started it only worked when the wire was in a particular position yet looking at the pin it doesn't seem to be broken. How do I fix it and is it possibly the battery that's the issue here? Note, my laptop is currently out of charge so that might make things more difficult, the laptop is also about 1 or 2 years old

Actually, it just sounds like you need a new charger.
