Hello there guys.

I am new here, and i have this lil problem.

After i was cleaning my laptop from dust, few days later i noticed that my charger tip started overheating. Sometimes but very rarely it also disconnects charger from laptop entirely, i got burnt on that metal tip several times and plastic around plug is warped. I dont really know what to do about it atm, coz ofc i lost my warranty by opening it, but i didnt interact with AC area, just repasted my gpu and cpu, cleaned dust and closed it, then it was running good again. (My gpu and cpu temperatures are good again).

Any ideas?
Thanks for any help.

Whats wattage of your adapter? It may be an overkill and cause heating, and for how long do you play on laptop?

PS. Do you remove the battery when playing?

Than that is cause of overheating, because there cant be any other solution, just to be sure have you noticed when you bought laptop was it too hot or normal?

it was fine since i bought it, i just think that there is some dust stuck on motherboard causing the ressistance and heating up, thing is, i dont really know how to open this guy entirely

Then take it to repair shop just to not break it if you are not sure how to open laptops. Ii could take a day into repair shop or less if they dont have any job to do and you will have to pay some small cash$.

i have experience with electronics and opening laptops, repairing it, just havent opened this model myself yet. dirt heat probs just caused contacts to melt and it might have goten lose, all i will need to do is probably clean the dust there and solder it, just came here to ask if anyone has any experience with this kind of problems for any tips
