Question My ASUS Zephyrus won't turn on unless the charger is plugged in after I changed the fan, changed the battery I reapplied the thermal paste

I had already changed the fan and everything was fine, however, I realized that the temperature was a little bit higher than usual; then I figured that I did not clean the existing thermal paste on the GPU and the CPU before applying another one. It was when my new battery came in that I decided to clean off the thermal past and apply a considerable amount. It came out that The Type-C USB stopped working, the laptop won't turn on unless I plug in the charger, and the sound goes on and off.

Take it apart again and make sure all the internal connectors are connected. My guess is that you accidentally left something related to the battery disconnected.
