Solved! Charging and OTG at same time on Samsung N9005?

I have a Samsung N9005 Galaxy Note 3, and have an OTG connector for it, but it will not charge when connected up.
I have heard that some phones do not allow OTG and charging at the same time - is this true of the Note 3 and is there any way around it?

I have not heard of anyone being able to do so with that phone. Do both that is. I would suggest checking with Samsung directly to find out.
