Hi, I'm looking to get a gaming laptop but my budget is 400 pound. I'm not looking for the best graphics or anything but just something that will play wow or ffxiv relatively well. No freezing, slowing down etc. I've seen a Lenovo laptop online which has these specs:

roduct Description

Processor

AMD FX 7500 Quad Core
2.1GHz, 4MB Cache
AMD Turbo Core Up To 3.3GHz
Memory

12GB DDR3
1600Mhz
Hard Drive

1000GB / 1TB
Optical Drive

Super Multi Dual Layer DVD-ReWriter
Software

Windows 10 Home Edition 64-bit (With integrated Recovery)
Display

15.6" HD LED Display
Resolution: 1366 x 768
Graphics

AMD Radeon HD R7 Graphics Processor
512 Core Graphics Processor
DirectX 12
6GB Available Graphics Memory (As shown in dxdiag.exe)
Audio

Dolby Home Theatre Sound System
Input Devices

Full-sized, spill resistant keyboard with numeric keypad
Touchpad with gestures support, on/off button, two-way scroll, taps and gestures enabled, and finger zoom (pinch)

Now this is just a fallback but please let me know if there's anything better out there. Thanks for your help

Solution
In general, amd has nice graphics, but weak processor speeds.
The FX-7500 has a passmark rating of 3229 and a single thread rating of 1092.
Your games tend to depends on the speed of the single master thread for performance.
I might look for one that is intel powered.
