I'm trying to choose a gaming laptop... Variants:
Lenovo Y500
Intel core i7 3630QM
4gb ddr3 ram
I'm not sure about the video card configuration as there is one statement in the local e-store page, another in their email answer, and another after a phonecall. Its either nvidia gt650m 2gb ddr5, 2x650Ms, gt750m 2gb gddr5, or, again,.2 of them in SLI.
1TB hdd
Glare 15.6" FHD screen

Acer aspire v3-772g
Intel core i7 4702MQ (haswell)
8 gb ddr3 ram
Nvidia gtx 760 2gb
1tb hdd
Non glare 17.3" FHD screen

Acer aspire v3-771g
Same as the 772g, but video card is nvidia 730 4gb

Also lenovo y580
Intel core i7 3630qm
4gb ddr3
Gtx660m 2gb
Fhd 15.6"
1tb hdd

This is EASILY the best bet.

The one with 2 750s in SLI might be slightly better, but it will be MUCH WORSE in games that do not support SLI or have poor SLI profiles and for this reason I would definitely go with the gtx760

Ok, now I have 2 variants of the 772G
They both are same price (yet in different stores)

1.
Intel® Core™ i7-4702MQ
8GB DDR3
1000GB 5400 RPM
17.3” FHD non-glare IPS 1980x1080
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX760 2GB GDDR5
Linux

2.
Intel® Core i7-4702MQ
8Gb DDR3 1600 MHz
17.3" HD+ LED
2.5" SATA 1Tb + 120Gb SSD
nVidia GeForce GT750 4Gb (I don't know if it's DDR3 or GDDR5)
DOS

I prefer the first one for faster GPU and FHD screen, yet the second for SSD and maybe more memory (I doubt if I would use up the 4gigs)
Any advice?

Yes, I will definitely get Windows. Why is it better? Screen - mostly I will be using an external FHD monitor, the SSD improves startup time, and the 750 is only 12% slower yet has double memory (GDDR5)... Why else should I get the first one instead of second?
also, I forgot to mention I will also use it for resource-heavy media editing programs like photoshop, after effects, premiere pro

Because more games use Windows than any other operating system. But for video editing, a desktop is *WAY* better than a laptop. The hardware will be a lot faster because you won't utilize low power components.

I know windows is better :D
Already considered, not getting a desktop.
I was asking why would the first variant of 772g outperform the second one? Also, in case I buy the first, can I add an SSD later?

If you add an SSD later on it will replace the primary hard drive, and if you need the full functionality of your laptop, you will need to buy or make restoration discs for your laptop.
