Hi,
I have been looking at laptops that have i5 and a decent graphics card and are in my budget.

Now, I want to be able to do photoshop and play games, mainly FIFA 15 in ultra and gta V(med/high). I don't require preloaded windows.

So far I have come up with the HP r203tx (http://www.amazon.in/HP-15-r203TX-15-6-inch-GeForce-Sparkling/dp/B00TX7RDI8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1434855319&sr=8-1&keywords=r203tx). That cost is the max limit of my budget.

The other one I've been looking at is the Lenovo G50 i5 version (http://www.amazon.in/Lenovo-59-442262-15-6-inch-Laptop-N15V-GM/dp/B00T9N1FAS/ref=pd_rhf_dp_p_img_8?ie=UTF8&refRID=02K64W51G09B9AC1QS8H)
It's above my budget and I would have to wait for it to come down. Although it has a slower processor than the HP, it does have a FHD display.

I want to know which one of these would be a better pick. Also if you guys have any other suggestions, I would like to know them too.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.

I wouldn't really require a FHD display as because I could simply hook up the laptop to my TV. So, basically, I could live without a FHD display. What I can't live without is the games and good processing power. I checked the games approximate frame rates (http://www.notebookcheck.net/Computer-Games-on-Laptop-Graphics-Cards.13849.0.html), and they seem fair enough.

The only question I'm facing right now is whether I should really ditch the 2.2 gHz variant just for build quality. I'm really careful with all my gadgets, so the build quality is not that high on my priority list. If you were talking about the keyboard and touchpad, I have a wireless set for those. Would the 2.2gHz affect performance at a much higher level than the 1.7? I also need to work with Visual Studio, which is another resource hungry software. Add to that photoshop (Cs6 advanced) and those games, and I figure I might need the extra processing power.

So, do I still go for the Lenovo?

P.S. Sorry for the late reply. I couldn't get to my computer for a while.

Well, if build quality and screen resolution aren't major issues, then go with the HP because it has the slightly better processor. And as you said, it's more within your price range. I'm sure it will be fine if you're careful with it. :)
