I have a Enclave CinHome home theater connected to the network. I am using the wireless Joey and an LG 55" 1080p tv. I have an HDMI cable from the Joey to the Enclave and an HDMI cable from the Enclave to the LG tv. I turned off the CEC option. I am having 2 problems. 1) For some reason background sound is muted - sometimes so much so that you can't hear it. This most often happens when music is playing and a character is speaking - you'll be able to hear the character but not the music - sometimes everything is muted. 2) occasionally the picture will stop and start. when it gets very bad the picture will completely break up This problem goes away if I connect the Joey directly to the TV and bypasses the Hbit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I would suggest you connect the Joey directly to the TV with HDMI and the HTS to the digital audio output of the TV.
Check the TV manual on how to turn on and use the digital audio output (usually optical).
