[citation][nom]zybch[/nom]People buying apple products DON'T buy them for the functionality. They buy them because they are sad weak individuals that think that owning apple products will make them less pathetic. Little do they know that is actually adds to the patheticness of the purchaser.[/citation]
Oh come on now, that's just a ridiculous amount of hate for someone based on what brand they buy. While I personally would never buy an apple product because I'd rather build my own PC and the iPhone doesn't do anything that attracts me to it (and I prefer physical keyboards). My personal preferences however doesn't mean I think apple users are idiots. I hardly think what phone someone buys or what OS they use is a sure-fire method for determining someone's personality.
The comments section sure has become vitriolic lately, whether its anti-apple, anti-android, anti-MS, anti-sony, anti-whatever.
Anyway, this just tells me we have too many lawyers, the thing's been out like a week and already we have a class-action suit. It sure is a good thing we have these law firms ready to jump at a moment's notice to protect us from big bad corporate America. I'm sure they'll spread 100% the settlement to all the end users who have been harmed by Apple's evil practices and they're running this case for no fees (/end sarcasm).
So I guess that makes me anti-lawyer - dang, I guess I too have fallen victim to the Internet Hate Machine.
