[citation][nom]AndrewMD[/nom]Actually I used an iPhone 4 a few days ago and tried to replicate the reception problem and could not... but no denying there is an issue with iPhone 4s that are out in the market.[/citation]
Me too. Maybe I just hold it Steve's way?

And I'm sure if this lawsuit gets far enough in the legal system, then Apple will give in and ship the cases out. And then all will be peaceful again.

WOW greedy lawyers looking for a quick buck they see a billion in revenue and want a piece of that. They see that 45 million apple will be making from the rubber band sales and want a piece of that. How stupid can they be anyone buying an iphone should know about the problem and if their not smart enough to research the phone than they deserve it. I'm getting the same vibe from these lawyers im getting from the music industry lawyers suing torrenters. I hate apple but I hate lawyers even more!

News out today, Verizon going to be releasing Iphone in Jan... Horray. I'm waiting.. Verizon are the worlds best at testing before releasing. I bet they got it nailed. :) :) :)

I'm considering getting an iphone4, mainly because the last thing i'd use it for is a phone...i want the ipod/maps/games etc. with a phone for emergencies.
I'm an extremely light phone user...£45 payg in 18months.

yes, the reason apple has so much hype is because the popularity of apple has skyrocketed. their products are absolute BS when you compare it hardware wise. stop getting your pants wet from the new iphone. its just a phone. if it didnt have the massive app library it would be like any of the hundreds of other touch phones. gah.
apple doesnt care if you dont like it, they have your money and they dont care anymore. but no, no, go to starbucks with your double esspresso and scarf that you wear in the summer with your spikey hair in the front and cool hip sunglasses, hop onto your macbook pro (because its obviously much better for graphic desgin simply because its APPLE and rant on how much you dont like the iphone stupid apple fags.

[citation][nom]pug_s[/nom]This reception issue is not a problem, it is a feature.[/citation]

and the one and only phone that has this feature, thats why it's so popular.... dumb apply fans

[citation][nom]zybch[/nom]People buying apple products DON'T buy them for the functionality. They buy them because they are sad weak individuals that think that owning apple products will make them less pathetic. Little do they know that is actually adds to the patheticness of the purchaser.[/citation]
Oh come on now, that's just a ridiculous amount of hate for someone based on what brand they buy. While I personally would never buy an apple product because I'd rather build my own PC and the iPhone doesn't do anything that attracts me to it (and I prefer physical keyboards). My personal preferences however doesn't mean I think apple users are idiots. I hardly think what phone someone buys or what OS they use is a sure-fire method for determining someone's personality.

The comments section sure has become vitriolic lately, whether its anti-apple, anti-android, anti-MS, anti-sony, anti-whatever.

Anyway, this just tells me we have too many lawyers, the thing's been out like a week and already we have a class-action suit. It sure is a good thing we have these law firms ready to jump at a moment's notice to protect us from big bad corporate America. I'm sure they'll spread 100% the settlement to all the end users who have been harmed by Apple's evil practices and they're running this case for no fees (/end sarcasm).

So I guess that makes me anti-lawyer - dang, I guess I too have fallen victim to the Internet Hate Machine.

I have the Nokia E71 and I am unable to reproduce the problem. I'm running this year's v4 firmware. No loss of 3G signal no matter how much I cover the back and sides with my palm.

[citation][nom]aajgb[/nom]What if Apple just bundled the iphone with the protective case, will it solve the issue?[/citation]

But you're forgetting. Apple still wants the money for these cases.

I still can't believe how Apple is going to handle this. "Just don't hold it that way" I mean come on. If any other company other than Apple tried to pull this, I would imagine it would be a much bigger issue than it is. Apple isn't good for a lot, maybe overpricing their hardware and telling their customers how to do things. That's about it.

Well my phone also has reception problems, but it´s a dual sim card phone and cost me 50€, so on I can´t expect much, but an Iphone isn´t 50€ is it? So on this I say Apple FAIL.

[citation][nom]matt87_50[/nom]what?? god Apple fanboys are lame! YOU CAN JUST TAKE IT BACK IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT! i'm fairly certain you get a full refund. what? are they so desperate for it they are hoping this will force Apple to fix the problem and they will still get to keep their beloved phone? just take it back and buy something else![/citation]

I'm no Apple fanboy, but there's nothing I hate more than technology that doesn't work correctly.
Reception=awful and needs software update
Rest of iPhone 4=F*CKING awesome!!!
