I bought a new HP laptop with Windows 10 which I don't like. I did a clean install of Windows 7 after which the Ethernet WiFI and other drivers weren't working. How can I get the right drivers if I don't have internet? Thanks

Solution
Driver only work for the os they are program too. Can't install on something else that not supported.

MS put the start menu back with the last windows 10 update. Not sure what "new"

Excuse my lack of knowledge, but can you tell me how to do that. When I go to HP site and try to get drivers it only gives me drivers for my working laptop. Which is my wife's and she has and likes Windows 10 so it gives me those drivers.
Thanks in advance

I did that and the only option it gave me was Windows 10 . What about a new laptop ,HP 15.6" HD Touchscreen Laptop Computer PC, 7th Gen Intel Kaby Lake Dual Core i5-7200U 2.5Ghz CPU, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB HDD, DVDRW, USB 3.1, HDMI, WIFI, Webcam, Rj-45, that comes with Windows 10, can I find out if the OS is down gradable to Windows 7.

Thanks for your help..As a side note the laptop is for my 91 year old father who is just now used to Windows 7 and doesn't want to have to learn the new OS. As I said before I was able to do a clean install of Windows 7 but none of the peripherals would work. Is there a way to back up the drivers and then reinstall them after the clean install. Thanks again for your help
