As a broke college student, I don't have a lot of money. However, my laptop is starting to move into the first signs of death throws, and I'm on the market for a new affordable laptop. I do enjoy playing games on my device, and realize that it's rare to find truly affordable gaming laptop.
Currently I'm looking into this: http

It's has decent specs, and it's not the worst to look at. I am curious if any others might be able to find a laptop of a similar price range that might out perform this one.
Along with this I'm curious as to how the older i 7 process and it's integrated graphics would do with a more intense game. I'm not looking for 60+ fps, just smooth enough game play on decent settings.
