College student...New Macbook or New Macbook Air 13 inch?

I'm leaning towards the Air since it has a longer battery life, is cheaper, and I think it is faster than the new Macbook? I will be using it for mainly note taking...and maybe a couple games here and there...

Can I ask why you want it? Especially a new one?

They're overpriced as all hell and for your needs, there are far better, far cheaper options.

I'm going to purchase a laptop that can handle some light gaming in June/July. Which one should I get?

The air can be configured to better specs and it's nice to actually have more than 1 port.

Yeah. I'm considering the 13inch with 8GB RAM.....Not sure though...thinking about buying an ultrabook but I dislike windows laptops.
Also a 480p webcam on the Macbook is not good. I want a laptop with at least 720p webcam, preferably 1080p?
