Compaq dvd drive not working

Hello,
i sent my laptop in to Tech Guys for fixing but they didnt restore my laptop properly and now it wont read ANY disc and they are refusing to sort it out. Anyone know how i can get my laptop to read discs without their help?

You can try going to compaq's website and downloading the cd drive driver and see if that works. If not, report back to us.
