Compaq Presario F500 Laptop Won't Turn On

I'm sure alot of you have seen your fair share of computers refusing to turn on, but this issue is a little more specific. Basically after not using it for a few months I go to turn but just gives me a single blink of light on the power button, power indication and the wireless activity but nothing else. I'm reckoning on it being the CPU but any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you tried using another power A/C adapter? There's a possibility that the adapter is not supplying the laptop with ample power.
