Comparing DDR3 SODIMM PC3-10600 vs. PC3-12800 for the Acer Aspire One 725

I'd like to buy an 8G SODIMM for my Acer Aspire One 725.
The manual recommends:
Memory Type: DDR3 PC3-10600, DDR3 (non-ECC)

However, in order to reuse it later on for a Acer Aspire One 756,
I'm tempted to buy this type:
Memory Type: DDR3 PC3-12800, DDR3 (non-ECC)

Does the PC3-12800 work as well as the PC3-10600, on the Acer Aspire One 725?
