I am a veteran "Video Handler" (not electronic tech, but understand the ins and outs). I recently ran into a problem:
I have an old ripped DVD that has a movie with 2 soundtracks, French and English (French is the original & English is a dubbing).
I have no problem watching the DVD on any DVD player and switch between the languages through the menu.
Now I tried to compress the DVD into MP4 file, but my Mac's "MPEG Streamclip" program provides me only with the French version
and I have no idea where to look for the English version on the disk and make it stick to the movie.
Has anybody here encountered something like that and have a solution?
I know I can just copy the movie between 2 DVD machines, but I try to avoid it in order not to lose quality in the process.
Thank you,
Dave The Ripper.
