Computer doesnt stay running with battery plugged in

Hi, I have a Toshiba satellite e45w- c4200x. I recently was using my computer and it would just shut off, you could turn it on than it would shut down again, with or without a charger plugged in. So I have tried disconnecting the battery, holding the power button and all and it would work for a day or a couple days, than die again. and would have to disconnect and hold the power button all over. so Ive been running it recently without the battery plugged in and it has worked flawless, minus the fact that I have a cord. what do I need to do or buy to get this so I can run it with out a worry? Thanks

Sounds like you just need to replace the battery.
