Computer Help needed, odd occurrences

My computer (a dell 15 5000 series laptop) has been having a lot of issues lately. I recently replaced the battery but all sorts of strange problems start occurring. Lights flash, the computer tells me it's not charging and one time I unplugged the AC adapter at full battery charge and it crashed. Can somebody help me figure out what's wrong?

Hi,

The easiest way to identify if that's a battery problem or something else in the OS of the laptop try removing the battery off the laptop and run it only by means of your AC adapter.

did you get an OEM Dell battery or an aftermarket non-Dell replacement?
