Computer - Home Theater - TV

Hey everyone. I have a Panasonic SA-BTT290 and my setup is as follows. Computer is connected to the home theater via the gpu and the home theater is connected to my Sony tv using an arc connection.
My question is why when I go into the properties of the home theater system in playback devices the highest quality I can set it to is only 24 48000hz studio quality and not lets say 2 channel 24 bit 192000hz studio quality. Any help would be appreciated as I am a bit stumped.
Also last thing. When I right click the speakers it has something called About Software Midi Synthesizer? I googled it but found nothing.
Thanks for the help as I want my audio to be at what it can produce.

Manual for the Panasonic says it will play 24-192 flac but only 16-48 wav..

That may only apply to the USB input. Copy the file onto a USB stick and try it.
Not sure what the SMS is but midi is for musical instrument playback so I think you can ignore it.
