Computer slowed way down could it be heat related?

HP 2000 screen goes dark, still can see page and taking 30 sec-60 seconds to load e-mail page. Is this heat related or has motherboard started to fail. It has a new terabyte SSD and 8 gigs ram it should be pretty fast but NO. Any suggestions other than buy a new one?

It is a HP 2000 2b19WM AMD E-300APU * gigs RAM 114,2 Gig SSD what other specs are needed? Manufactured 7/2013.

This cou is very weak. What os are you running?
