concerns with T.V. choice for ps4 pro 4k gaming.

Hello everyone,

so I am considering buying this T.V. https/www.bestbuy.com/site/tcl-55-class-led-4-series-2160p-smart-4k-uhd-tv-with-hdr-roku-tv/5878703.p?skuId=5878703 to play my ps4 pro in 4k mode on. I am worried however that I will have noticeable lag as it is 60hz tv. can anyone tell me if this would be a perfectly fine T.V. to play ps4 pro games at 4k on?

4k @ 60hz is all that any TV can do right now at this time. Besides, it's the input lag that'll effect your gaming. And that TV probably isn't that bad.

I agree. I just answered another question about gaming with a console on a tv.

There is a long list of problems when gaming on a TV but all things considered if it's just for gaming and not watching tv you should definitely look into getting a monitor with a low (1ms) response time.

When you game on a TV there are issues with ghosting and blurring that you can notice and the response times can definitely be high.

That being said, you can find 4k tv's that have gaming modes and can drop your response time down significantly, so fear not!

I will swear by and always condone getting yourself a monitor (4k monitors can run you significantly less than tv's for obvious size reasons).
