how can I access information from my laptop on my I pad I have wireless connection on my Acer

You have two options, you can either use an app like FileExplorer (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/fileexplorer-free/id510282524?mt=8) to view your network shares. Or, you can use a cloud storage service such as Microsoft's OneDrive, Apple's iCloud, or Dropbox, where you can set up a folder on your computer that gets synced to the service. You can then use OneDrive, iCloud, or Dropbox apps on your iPad to share the content. Apple's office apps for iPad will automatically see content stored on iCloud, so that may be something to keep in mind in picking a service.
