My requirement is:
Working with Tableau tool and .net
Mobile application development.

Please suggest. I am not sure what is difference between i5 and i7

Solution
The i7-4510u is more powerful than the i5-5200u since the max turbo boost speed is 3.1GHz vs 2.7GHz.

Based on the price of the Dell and the fact that it has a touchscreen it has a 1366x768 resolution instead of a 1080p screen. That means you are going to see less info on the screen due to lower resolution. I avoid laptops with such a low resolution.
The difference between the dual core i5 and i7 CPUs basically boils down to higher clockspeeds; up to 400MHz depending on which Core i5 and i7 CPUs you are comparing. There are quad core i7 CPUs, but they are in more expensive laptops.

Both of the Lenovo links brings me to the same page and the page does not seem to be loading properly. Could be something on Lenovo's website or the links are simply bad. I would avoid the Dell because it only has a 1366x768 resolution screen which is low in my opinion. I prefer a 1920x1080 resolution screen since it allows me to see more information on the screen. If you are not going to be playing any games, then the $549 Z50-70 will be fine for your needs.

Thanks for your quick response...

Basically my budget is around 600$ and looking for i7 laptop. the below are the models i checked

Lenovo Z50-70 Laptop - 59444499
Lenovo Z50-70 Laptop - 59444501

It would be great if you can suggest me any other models within my budget

The difference between the two models the nvidia 820m. It is a bit more powerful than the Intel HD 4400, but it is still considered a pretty weak graphics chip. It can play most games on low settings, possibly a few on medium settings at 1366x768 resolution. Games with very low system requirements like League of Legends and probably Team Fortress 2 can be played at 1080p with high settings.

If you are not into playing games, then get the cheaper one. I am pretty sure application development does not require a dedicated graphics card / chip.

Another question:

Lenovo
4th Generation Intel Core i7-4510U Processor (2.00GHz 1600 MHz 4MB)
8GB RAM
500 GB Harddisk

VS

DELL WITH TOUCH
5th Generation Intel Core i5-5200U (2.2GHZ 3MB)
8GB Ram
1 TB Harddisk

Which on should i prefer lenovo it costs me including tax 580$ and dell it costs me 480$. Advantage is dell is coming with touch in microsoft store.... The basic purpose is to develop applications for mobile and running of data anlytic tools.
