i have to choose between theses 2 laps:
1) lenovoz510 intel core i5 4200m 2.4/cash3
6gb ram(ddr3)
nividia Gt 740m 2gb dedicated
battery built in 6 cell.
2) dell inspiron 15r
intel core i7 4500u 1.8 up to 3.0/cash4
8gb ram (ddr3)
graphics:amd 8850m 2gb.

according to my budget i have only those 2 options
so..what's better for gaming and what's better gt740m or 8850m ? i really confused about that. and the difference in price is 140$ for dell . so does it worth ?

According to the comparisons I linked below (they're representative, there's lots more available online), the 8850M is the better gaming card. And the i7 is going to better for overall computing. Having said that, the Lenovo is not bad. Whether the difference is worth $140 is up to you, but I think so. The i7 and 8850M will let you go longer before newer games become unplayable.

the problem now does hd8850m has a huge difference in performance rather than gt740m

As far as the i7 goes, you'll note that I said it would be better for "overall computing", and it will be. You didn't say what kind of games you play, but if you play any that are CPU intensive, then the i7 will be better for that, too. Measurably. If you're just websurfing and playing non-CPU intensive games, then it's a wash.

I missed the DDR 3 mention - my bad. In that case it's much fuzzier. GT740M has a higher core speed, max resolution, pixel rate and uses less power, but the 8850M has higher memory speed, memory bandwidth, shader performance, and texture rate. You can find benchmarks showing favor either way, and forum opinions are the same. You'll have to factor in the kind of games you play (CPU/non-CPU, AMD vs Nvidia optimized) but basically it looks like personal preference vs a clear-cut winner. Based on your CPU statement, my guess is that the cheaper laptop with the i5 and GT 740M would be the better choice for you.
