I have the Onkyo TX SR343blue tooth receiver and Harmon Kardon wireless bluetooth speakers. Do I need an adapter to run the receiver through the speaker. Or, do I need to connect speakers with audio cable. The speakers have USB connection, any suggestions on adapters if need be, from Usb TO Audio....

then, you'd need a bluetooth transmitter like http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wireless-Bluetooth-2-In-1-Transmitter-Receiver-3-5mm-Stereo-Audio-Music-Adapter-/262774838571 that you'd connect to the phones output on the receiver. If you bought the speakers specifically to work via bluetooth with the receiver, or viceversa, they would not. The receiver can not work with wireless speakers.

You are aware by hooking things up this way, the receiver's built-in amplifier goes to waste, you may as well not have it there, you are relying on the relatively weak amplification of the speakers' built-in amplifier.

The USB plug is intended to be hooked up to a PC, receivers can't take USB.

There is no functional USB to audio plug cable in this case.
The only way to get sound from the receiver to that speaker is
1. Connect a speaker to line level converter to the front speaker terminals. You can leave other speakers connected at the same time.

2. Connect a bluetooth transmitter to the converter. Pair the speaker with it.
