Connect dead android phone display to computer as a monitor

So mainly I am thinking of making a projector but to get the screen I am stuck as
I have a dead android phone which I want to hook up to computer as a external monitor and then I can place it in the box of diy projector
So how can I connect a stock screen display to computer

Contact the phone maker, get the pin-outs for the screen display connections, do the same for the computer, match up the connections with your own cabling. It's not very easy.
