Connect home cinema help please

Hi I a Sony dav-dz230 and I am trying to connect it to my tv for audio but the home cinema doesn't have a optical input port. All it has is a audio in and a headphone socket and hdmi. Tried everything and can't get it to work. Any ideas thanks
