Connect LCD to Laptop

How do i connect my LCD TV to laptop, I want to view movies from my laptop to LCD TV.
What kind of port would be used here ?

Check your laptop. There may be a video out port (either VGA or S-Video). Use that to a comparable video in port on your LCD TV.
