Connect my samsung TV sound to my samsung DVD

Hi, I want to use the sound from my Samsung LCD TV IZ02 to a samsung DVD HT-tz215 home theatre system ? is that possible ? the DVD has only USB input ? and I am not sure if the USB ports in my TV can take sound out ?

USB - Negative.

You can do:

STEREO only: headphone out to LineIN/AUXin/CD.

SURROUND: Optical to Optical, also called a Toslink.

Assuming both boxes have those jacks.
