Connect old amp with new lcd tv

I have a sherwood RV8070R amp. I want connect to my samsung lcd tv(model LA32A450C1)to have better sound. Can this work as i connect my tv with hdmi for the astro decoder

Your TV seems to only have a headphone output. You need a cable with a stereo mini plug on one end and a pair of left and right RCA plugs on the other end. Not uncommon so you should be able to get one locally.
If your astro decoder has audio outs you can try those but they may not work with the HDMI cable plugged in or if it has an audio menu you may need to change it.

I have tried with the headphone output, it works but the sound not very good... My astro decoder do have a digital out, can this work with my sherwood amp
