Solution
Your TV does not have any line level audio outputs or headphone outputs therefore the soundbar is not connectable to the TV if the TV is used as the source connection (watching terrestrial TV), if you connect a external AV source like a DVD/BluRay/Set top box (Satellite or Cable)/PC/Games Console then you can use the sound bar with it.
What audio OUTPUTS does your TV have?

It should be pretty straightforward. If you have TOSLINK use that.

You mention analog. If so, what OUTPUT do you actually have, and how exactly does that connect to the soundbar?

I tried to look at your TV manual online but it doesn't show any audio outputs.

The LG website does not seem to list any outputs for that TV

RF In (Antenna/Cable)
AV In
Component Video In(Y, Pb, Pr) + Audio
HDMI™/HDCP Input
USB 2.0
