connect to the internet through my home network.I have an

Paul,

From what little I know, you need to setup Internet Connection Sharing. You
share your Internet connection with the NIC in your desktop PC. The IP
address of the NIC will change to 192.168.0.1 so be careful if you have any
other devices at the same address. The ICS also installs a DHCP server on
your desktop PC so that it can dynamically configure IP addresses for other
NICs. On the IPAQ setup the connections to use DHCP addresses and you should
be about their.

Sorry if I'm a bit vague but I only have an IPAQ 2210 with bluetooth so it's
a little bit different!
