Connect to my century link Internet without a computer

I just bought Century Link wireless Internet at my house however my home laptop has not been working for some time. The instructions says i have to connect with my home computer to set up my Internet. Seriously? Is there anyway to connect to the Internet without having a home computer?

They aren't being that specific and your laptop will do the job unless you mean it doesnt work at all. A mobile phone or tablet could also do the job.
