Connect two amps to one 12in speaker

You are asking for trouble if you are connecting two amps to one speaker.

You are effectively connecting the outputs of both amps to each other as well as the speaker. Don't do it. You could damage both amps and the speaker..
A dual voice coil woofer will work safely like that but using two different amps even with a dvc woofer isn't the right way to go.
