Connecting 64 bit laptop to printer

Hello,
'm trying to connect my laptop which is 64 bit wirelessly to the HP deskjet 6543, which is already connected to a desktop computer 32 bit. Can I please get a step-by-step way of doing this? thanks!

There's no difference other than the driver package will end up in the Programme Files x86 folder. All the setup is done in the printer itself, as you probably already know, and once the router has given it an address, use Control Panel>Printers and Devices>Add and Printer>Add and Network Printer. Let the system browse and find it and only give it a shove in the right direction if it cannot. Have the CD handy - it may be needed.
