Connecting a laptop to a tv... And the laptop has a broken screen.

Hello, I broke my laptop screen, and would like to hook it up to my tv... The only problem is that my laptop screen is broken to the point where I can't see anything on the screen. Can you please tell me how I can do this.

Plug it into the TV, then press Win Key + P a couple of times.

You see... I tried this, but nothing is happening. It just sort of makes the number lock key flash.

Do you see anything if you reboot the laptop?

Not sure why the num lock light would flash...

If your laptop has an FN key it likely has a bunch of subcommands attached to the F1-F12 keys. If one of those keys has a symbol that looks like a monitor, rectangle/square, or says LCD then it might be the key for switching between display devices, such as your laptop and TV.
