Happy to join the forum. My old Roku 2 had ports for RCA's and a HDMI port.
I have an old Bose lifestyle entertainment center 35 that only has RCA ports and is connected to the speakers in my den. I was able to connect both the Bose and the Pioneer receiver. Now some of the streaming services wont work because I need a Roku 3 or higher, Sadly they all have only one HDMI. I tried a splitter no help. I tried a HDMI audio extractor -- i had sound but a super fuzzy picture. To make matters worse all the equipment is in a closet and I have HDMI transmitter/receiver sending the data to the samsung TV. please shoot me Any thoughts would make a girl from Brooklyn happy.
