Connecting android tv box to old home theatre system for surround sound

I have a KEF KIT 100 home theatre system and an X96 android tv box. I was wondering if there is any way I can connect my android box to the home theatre system to experience surround sound when I use the tv box. The android tv box has an AV-out port. My tv is a loewe individual compose 46.

Th X96 box seems to have an optical digital output. You can verify that by looking in the AV port. Is there a red light? If so it has an optical output. You could connect that to the optical input on the KEF. Should I get the cable kanewolf suggested or just a regular optical cable? There is no red light in the AV-port, but theres a red light in the "optical"-port.
Specsheet of the android box says this:

Just a regular optical cable. The pictures I found on the web were obviously for a different model.
