Connecting JVC RX-618Vreceiver to Samsung BN59-01179A smart tv

Hello all, I am trying to connect my Samsung TV to an old JVC receiver. I am currently getting sound to the receiver through a direct connection to the DISH network receiver. However, I do not have the benefit of surroung sound through my hometheater when I am using TV mirroring or just watching stuff through Youtube on my TV. Does anyone know how how I can connect the TV to the receiver. I have tried using the coaxial cables to no end.

The specs of your TV show that is has a stereo audio out via mini plug. Your receiver has RCA stereo inputs so you need a cable that has a stereo mini plug at one end and two RCA plugs at the other. Pretty common.
