Connecting LG 60PA6500 Plasma with Wireless Headphone

Hi,

Keen to seek advice from the experts here.

I have an LG 60PA6500 Plasma TV and would like to buy a wireless headphone to connect with.
If I understand correctly, looks like there is only 1 audio output with this model which is optical digital audio out. Do I need to buy any converter to allow the connection with wireless headphone?

If the headphone transmitter doesn't have an optical input then you do need a DAC like this one

Some DACs will only accept a stereo PCM signal and some TVs won't output this.
