connecting Samsung sound bar and Vizio TV

I have everything plugged up right HDMI from sound bar to HDMI-1/ARC and the digital cable as well. My problem is when I cut my TV off and back on the TV speakers are back on again every single time,. I have to hit menu go into audio and cut the internal speakers off then the sounder works fine. The weird thing is I can cut the sounder itself on with its remote then cut the TV on and everything works fine from the start. So I know its a timing issue from the ARC input telling the sounder to come on but of course when I call vizio customer service they tell me its the samsung sound bar thats the problem. I just want to know if anyone figured out how to fix this or knows how to change the timing? Thank you in advance for any help.

Try turning the TV volume all the way down. Won't matter if the speakers are still one if the volume is down.
