connecting screen to motherboard

i have a dell inspiron mini 10 laptop and my hinges broke so i brought it to someone who supposedly fixes computers for a living and he said it could be fixed...well after almost a year i get it back in pieces....i have almost everything put together except the two wires coming from the screen that connect to the motherboard....i do not know where they go...one is black and one is white and the both have a gold tip one them....can someone please tell me where they connect to? i can not find any place they are suppose to be and i dont know what they are called...i just know it is a black wire and a white one that is coming from the bottom of the screen by where the hinge is on the left side if you are looking at the screen..

on laptops you have to open the screen up. in the top of the lcd pannel there two main cables. one is the gold data cable that goes from the system board to the lcd that send the video data. the other cables are for power for the led and the back light. in the top of the lcd is a power power that needs to wires to run. most power power boards for safty have a white plastic cable plug that keyed to keep techs from plugging the wires in wrong.

Hi, I think you are talking about the antennas for your wifi card. Locate your wifi card and follow a path to connect the wires to the card.
