Connecting the HyperX Cloud PRO headset

So I have the HyperX Cloud PRO headset, my MBO is : Gigabyte Z97X - Gaming 5, and Im wondering where should I plug it in ? In the front panel (standard 3,5 mm hole) or should I plug it in one of the 5 audio holes in the back of the PC (motherboard) ?

I am asking because I want to know what connection will give me better sound...

Okay guys, so now I did a test. I connected my HyperX Cloud PRO headset to the back panel, and the sound is clean (better), and while it was connected to the Front panel, the sound was a bit muffled (like underwater). HOW IS THAT ? How come the sound is better when I connect it to the back panel ?
