So I bought from my local hardware store (Steren) an audio splitter, that has one female output and two male inputs, which are labeled with a headphone and microphone icons. When I try connecting my headset with the audio splitter it seems that only the microphone is working, but the headphones are not. How can I fix this?

I'll leave pictures of the audio splitter, the headset is just a regular JVC headset.

Your headphones need to have a single jack with sound and mic on a single 3.5mm plug to work the 3.5mm plug should have 4 separate little sections. The splitter you have takes the left and right and splits it off from the mic so you can use it like your suggesting. The male end of this plug is what you nee to plug into that splitter for it to work. https://www.amazon.com/Kingtop-Adap...lja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ&th=1
