connecting tv, satellite receiver sound bar, dVD player

How do I connect my sound bar, DVD player, satellite receiver and TV with HDMI cables

Satellite Receiver HDMI out to TV HDMI1 in.
DVD Player HDMI out to TV HDMI2 in.
TV Optical out to Sound Bar Optical in.

i have tv with no hdmi arc or optical connections. I have 3 hdmi ports on my alba tv, 2 are connected to my cable & blueray player. The maxwell mxsb-252 soundbar has 3hdmi in & 1 hdmi out ports. How do i connect please, my idea was to disconnect the dvd & cable hdmi from rear of tv & insert to the hdmi on s/box & use an hdmi connection from s/box hdmi out to the now vacant tv hdmi I have ordered the s/box, but maybe i should cancel if it is not possible to hook up.

Since the soundbar has 3 hdmi inputs you can connect the cable box and bluray player to it with HMDI and use the HDMI output to feed the TV. You don't need a switch box.

not sure what u mean by a switchbox., i agree that the connections you state sound logic, little worried that previous soloutions say that that the connection from the hdmi out on thes/box should be connected to an hdmi arc socket on my tv which i dont have, just 3 normal hdmi ports.
