Hi Everyone,
I'm having problems in connecting my TV to the Stereo System. After playing around with it for hours, the only way I can get it to play sound is via the Sky Box using RCA cables; this works fine but it means that I can't use the speakers for my Xbox. I was wondering if there is a way to connect the HiFi straight to the TV so that the sound would work for both Sky and the Xbox?
After looking at the back of the TV, I think it only has a digital audio output as the only red&white sockets are named 'Component In' and 'AV In' and these don't work.
I also have a 3.5mm to RCA cable but if I plug it into the headphone socket it still doesn't work. Plus, I also have a female 3.5mm to RCA if that's any help...
TV - Samsung LE37C530F1WXXU
HiFi - Samsung MX-J630/XU
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Really want to use the speakers for my Xbox!
Thanks
Jack
