considering buying a toshiba laptop

I'm considering buying a Toshiba Satellite L50-B15 (on sale at Future Shop for $449). It seems to meet all my needs for word processing and web surfing, but I've heard mixed reviews concerning Toshiba. Looking for reviews, advice, and comparable laptops at a similar price.

I've can't say i've used Toshiba, but i tend to stay away from them, HP and Acer because of durability issues on some of the models. I'd have to say, go for an ASUS , Lenovo, or Dell laptop. Also, make sure it has an A6 AMD or i3 intel processor or higher, that is iof u want it to last a few years.
