Solved! Constantly having to reset Wi-Fi adapter

Hi there, this is not actually a laptop problem - it's a desktop PC connecting via an access point.
Every time I start the PC I have to run the Windows network connection troubleshooter. Sometimes the Wi-Fi icon says I'm connected, other times it doesn't, but the internet never works for more than a few seconds. I run the troubleshooter and it always resets the network adapter, then either fixes the default gateway or fixes the "doesn't have a valid IP".
I then usually have access for a few more seconds before the connection is lost and I have to run the troubleshooter again.

Yesterday it was resetting "Adapter 3", but today it's resetting "Adapter 4".

I'm not a techie, so any tips would be much appreciated. I usually literally have to run the troubleshooter several times to get a minute of internet. At other times it'll work for a couple of hours before disconnecting.

Under Power Management the adapter is set to Do not allow the PC to turn off this device to save power. However, the reset usually changes this back to default

Here are my network properties, if that helps, plus the results of the latest 'fix':

Solution
Hi there, please take the whole log you posted into a spoiler, thanks.

install the latest driver for your revision E Nanon stick
https://support.dlink.com/ProductInfo.aspx?m=DWA-131

Eventually set the undefined/unknown network connection in windows to private instead of public

is any software or tool installed like antivirus or firewall other than the windows integrated ones?

try a clean boot
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows

get closer to the access point
which access point is it? Is its firmware up to date?
