Can we have a little more anti-Canada sentiment in this piece please? I'm sure there's a sentence or two that isn't dripping with sarcasm and a (deluded) sense of self-important superiority...

Well there isn't a comparable service in the states that is equal to BBM, however Whatsapp is now encrypted and will soon run into the same legal issues as Blackberry. Funny how everyone calls down Blackberry even though they are pioneers and writing the book on this stuff. Most of the information about what key the police had or have and how far reaching it is, is all made up by all the media outlets. They only know some BBM messages were accessed and don't know anything else. The rest of the accusations and innuendo are just plain made up.

That's why we didn't want to speculate on how exactly the RCMP got into the communications. We really don't know.
