Solved! Copying from sony handycam 8 to samsung sh895 dvd recorder

Hi and help?
I have loads of old cassettes on my sony handycam from 1993. Found out my samsung sh895 can copy from camcorder to a blank dvd or hard drive. On the camcorder there is yellow and black with a 35mm socket. So I have a yellow white and red cable. Connected yellow and inserted white into black into camcorder. Inserted same into front panel of recorder. On the screen says dv not connected?? Tried it on a different TV plays them fine. Any help appreciated

Which handycam model is it?

Switch the source in the Samsung to AV IN 3

Hi sorry but another problem if you can help. The model number is CCD TR303E. I've managed to copy quite a few now. However now the cassette keeps ejecting? Won't stay in. Anyone had this issue?

Are the already copied cassettes not working anymore as well?

Does the display flash an error code like C:31:23 or similar?
